House Description

Make yourself at home at a modern-classic Japanese house Nishihan, just next to the amusement which downtown Kyoto provides!

Nishihan is a 2 story house. On the ground floor, you will find the fully equipped and furnished kitchen-dining room, living room, bathroom, and toilet. 2 bedrooms are located on the upper floor. 

Family living room/
One low table, one large couch, one single couch, one TV with a DVD player and Nintendo Switch are placed. This is a cozy space to chat and relax with your companies.

Kitchen Dining room/
One dining table, 5 chairs and a fridge. All you need is prepared for you, such as tablewares, kitchen utensils, a microwave, a toaster, an electric kettle and basic seasonings.

Wash spaces/
A washing room, a bathroom and a toilet are all separated in Japanese style, a wise way to keep its cleanness. A washing machine is in the wash room. Toilet has comfort washlet. The spaces were newly-renovated for the house open for rent, it’s full of cleanliness.

While the ground floor is in western style, the 1st floor is furnished in the classic Japanese style.

Vintage-inspired bed room/
2 single beds are set in this room, is decorated with elegant deep red colour curtains. Since the house is in a very quiet residential area, these beds will let you sleep like a baby.

Japanese “Tatami” room/
This authentic Japanese room has a beautiful “Tokonoma” alcove where a seasonal hanging scroll and flowers are displayed. We will prepare 3 Japanese style futons on the floor, according to the number of guests, when the guest stay with more than 3.

The house is ideal for leisure, families or business travellers.

Location

Nishihan is located in Shijo-Omiya, a popular entertainment district. You will find plenty of options for eating out and enjoy your evening. it is only a few minutes from Omiya Station and several bus stops, it offers easy access to Kyoto’s main sights and the neighboring cities such as Kobe and Osaka.

Only a 3-minute walk to Gion festival, one of the biggest festivals in Japan.

Guidelines

The room cleaning service is offered once in the first 7 nights for guests staying for more than 9 consecutive nights. 

One set of bath & face towels is provided for each guest. Two sets will be provided for each guest who is staying for more than 3 consecutive nights. 

The whole property is non-smoking including the front of the entrance and the garden. If you would like to smoke, please use public smoking areas. 

Please follow the rules as indicated in the house when throwing away garbage. Do not throw out garbage on public roads or places not designated in the rules. 

Please carry your luggage carefully and quietly at night and in the early morning to respect the neighbors.

Nishihan is a two-bedroom house with a fully equipped kitchen, dining space with access to the terrace, living room with TV and sofa, and a bathroom. Nishihan is a western-style house, that being said one of the two bedrooms is actually a Japanese style room with futons and tatami flooring. Feel like home in this cozy two-story vacation home.

Linens, washing machine, Nintendo Switch console, WIFI, and 5 bikes are also provided for our guests.
