GUIDELINES

The room cleaning service is offered once in the first seven nights for guests staying for more than nine consecutive nights.
One set of bath & face towels is provided for each guest. Two sets will be provided for each guest who is staying for more than three consecutive nights.
The whole property is non-smoking, including the front of the entrance and the garden. If you would like to smoke, please use public smoking areas.
Please follow the rules as indicated in the house when throwing away waste. Do not throw out garbage on public roads or places not designated by the rules.
Please carry your luggage carefully and quietly at night and in the early morning to respect the neighbors.

PAYMENT METHOD

Please note that the credit card information is necessary to proceed with the reservation.
When you book through our website and to confirm the booking, the payment of the full amount is required. The payment must be by credit card.
The checkout is processed and secured by our partner, STRIPE.
Please note that your credit card information is stored in STRIPE, which is a secure payment platform. We won’t use that information unless any changes occur in the requested and booked services and result in a price update. For instance, if you would like to add extra services afterward or in the, unfortunately, event of any damages you would have caused during your stay. In those cases, a notification email with an invoice will be sent beforehand.

CANCELLATION POLICY

Please find below our cancellation policy:

In the case of cancellation, please let us know as soon as possible. The cancellation request should be made by e-mail.
You will be 100% refunded if the cancellation is received up to 15 days prior to your check-in date, no later than 12:00 JST.
Please note that no refund will be provided if the cancellation is received later than the due time as mentioned above or in the case of No Show.

► Please note that the cancellation policy as above applies to the service provided directly by Accommodation Japan, hence the guesthouses and the IC Card.  If you would cancel a cultural experience, please kindly refer to the cancellation policy for each experience. You could find them on the experiences’ pages.

ABOUT THE INSURANCE

Please note that when booking a stay and/or any other services with Accommodation Japan, no insurance is included. It is the guests’ responsibility to subscribe or not to insurance to get the desired coverage. Accommodation Japan won’t be held responsible for any events or incidents that could be occurring during your stay with us or the activities you booked with us. We, therefore, recommend you to subscribe to travel insurance before your departure to Japan. Please note that the coverage you will get depends on the plan you would have subscribed to the insurance company.
