House Description

Kiyomizu Garden House is a large two-story Japanese house divided into two independent units.

Kiyomizu Garden Suite will give you and your party only, private access to the ground floor of the house.

The ground floor kept all the features of the traditional architecture of Japanese houses and has been adapted and furnished for our guests to enjoy the same privacy and comfort as if they would stay in a private one-floor house.

Kiyomizu Garden House has two different entrances on the ground level, one of them will give you exclusive access to the ground floor. Your private floor includes two Japanese style bedrooms. The master bedroom offers semi-double beds, a garden-view veranda and also displays Traditional Japanese art. The second Japanese room can accommodate up to three futon beddings and has a garden view. The rest of the house has been renovated for more comfort. The living-dining area, with a sofa, TV and dining table, is spacious and bright. The open kitchen (and counter) is fully equipped and furnished. Your private floor also includes a bathroom, a toilet unit and a space for the washing machine.

Kiyomizu Garden Suite offers charming traditional rooms and modern facilities for a relaxing and comfortable stay. The merits of Kiyomizu Garden Suite is the garden. You will have private access to the garden, and seating space has been arranged for you to enjoy it at its fullest.


Please note that the full house ( ground floor and first floor) could also be reserved for you and your party only. Please check the Kiyomizu Garden Standard’s page for details about the first floor features and feel free to inquire if interested.

Location

The house offers an excellent location within the city. Only 7 minutes walk from the world-wide famous Kiyomizudera Temple, where Jean Reno stood in the French movie Wasabi (2001). Many other temples and great sightseeing spots can also be easily accessed either by foot or by public transportation.

★Kyoto city Bus, Gojozaka stop in 5 mins

★Keihan Railway, Gojo station (KH38) in 14 mins

Guidelines

The room cleaning service is offered once in the first 7 nights for guests staying for more than 9 consecutive nights. 

One set of bath & face towels is provided for each guest. Two sets will be provided for each guest who is staying for more than 3 consecutive nights. 

The whole property is non-smoking including the front of the entrance and the garden. If you would like to smoke, please use public smoking areas. 

Please follow the rules as indicated in the house when throwing away garbage. Do not throw out garbage on public roads or places not designated in the rules. 

Please carry your luggage carefully and quietly at night and in the early morning to respect the neighbors.
