Make yourself at home at a modern-classic Japanese house Nishihan, just next to the amusement which downtown Kyoto provides!

Nishihan is a 2 story house. On the ground floor, you will find the fully equipped and furnished kitchen-dining room, living room, bathroom, and toilet. 2 bedrooms are located on the upper floor. 

Family living room/
One low table, one large couch, one single couch, one TV with a DVD player and Nintendo Switch are placed. This is a cozy space to chat and relax with your companies.

Kitchen Dining room/
One dining table, 5 chairs and a fridge. All you need is prepared for you, such as tablewares, kitchen utensils, a microwave, a toaster, an electric kettle and basic seasonings.

Wash spaces/
A washing room, a bathroom and a toilet are all separated in Japanese style, a wise way to keep its cleanness. A washing machine is in the wash room. Toilet has comfort washlet. The spaces were newly-renovated for the house open for rent, it’s full of cleanliness.

While the ground floor is in western style, the 1st floor is furnished in the classic Japanese style.

Vintage-inspired bed room/
2 single beds are set in this room, is decorated with elegant deep red colour curtains. Since the house is in a very quiet residential area, these beds will let you sleep like a baby.

Japanese “Tatami” room/
This authentic Japanese room has a beautiful “Tokonoma” alcove where a seasonal hanging scroll and flowers are displayed. We will prepare 3 Japanese style futons on the floor, according to the number of guests, when the guest stay with more than 3.

The house is ideal for leisure, families or business travellers.

You will find plenty of options for eating out and enjoy your evening. it is only a few minutes from Omiya Station and several bus stops, it offers easy access to Kyoto’s main sights and the neighboring cities such as Kobe and Osaka.

Only a 3-minute walk to Gion festival, one of the biggest festivals in Japan.

Kiyomizu Garden House is a large two-story Japanese house that is divided into two independent units.

Kiyomizu Garden Standard will give you and your party only, private access to the upper floor of the house. The upper floor has been renovated and furnished for our guests to enjoy the same privacy and space as if they would stay in a private apartment.

Kiyomizu Garden House has two different entrances on the ground level, one of them will give you exclusive access to the first floor. The stairs will lead you to your private floor that includes two bedrooms (a room with two beds, and one with three), and a comfortable living-dining-kitchen area with a sofa, TV and dining table. The kitchen space is equipped with a fridge, microwave, kettle, and cooking stove. The apartment is fully furnished so you just have to unpack your luggage and relax. Your private floor also includes a shower room and a toilet unit. A washing machine is also provided and located on the ground floor near the first-floor entrance.

Kiyomizu Garden Standard offers the same comfort as a private apartment with very airy and bright spaces for a great value. The plus of the Kiyomizu Garden standard is the Temple view!

The master bedroom offers semi-double beds, a garden-view veranda and also displays Traditional Japanese art. The second Japanese room can accommodate up to three futon beddings and has a garden view. The rest of the house has been renovated for more comfort. The living-dining area, with a sofa, TV and dining table, is spacious and bright. The open kitchen (and counter) is fully equipped and furnished. Your private floor also includes a bathroom, a toilet unit and a space for the washing machine.

And one of the bedrooms; a Japanese style room with tatami flooring and amazing colors for a truly stylish feel. The room also features traditional Japanese arts. It offers futon bedding so during day time the room could easily be used as a relaxing space, a cozy living room with zabuton (floor cushions). The stairs in the entrance will take you to the upper floor where there’s a second toilet unit, the master bedroom, and the kitchen/dining space. The modern American kitchen space and its’ counter seats are ideal for enjoying an appetizer before going out (you will find many local restaurants in the  neighborhood). On the ground floor, you will find a welcoming entrance space, a spacious renovated bathroom with a garden view. Ideal for relaxing bath time! And one of the bedrooms; a Japanese style room with tatami flooring and amazing colors for a truly stylish feel. The room also features traditional Japanese arts. It offers futon bedding so during day time the room could easily be used as a relaxing space, a cozy living room with zabuton (floor cushions). The stairs in the entrance will take you to the upper floor where there’s a second toilet unit, the master bedroom, and the kitchen/dining space. The modern American kitchen space and its’ counter seats are ideal for enjoying an appetizer before going out (you will find many local restaurants in the  neighborhood). The kitchen is well-equipped and fully furnished so you could also have a delicious dinner at home. The master bedroom offers two queen size beds. At maximum capacity and depending on the composition of your party, the house could accommodate up to 7 guests, that being said, ideally, we would recommend this house for 5 guests. The villa is located in a peaceful residential area where you can feel and experience living like a local. it is less than 5 minutes walk from Imadegawa Subway Station, and a few minutes more from several bus lines to access easily main areas in Kyoto city. Nearby you will find the Imperial Palace and the Iconic Kamogawa River, which offers great scenery whatever the season.

If you are looking for a stay that offers privacy and Japanese feel, Shounsai is for you!! Shounsai means “clouds bring luck” in Chinese, and this is what we wish for you!

The appearance of the house is exactly what comes to your mind first when you think of a traditional Japanese house “Machiya”, but the facilities have been modernized for comfort and easy use.

Shounsai is a two story house that has a fully furnished westernized kitchen and bath space, and a Japanese style  living room on the first floor. From the living room, you could enjoy the view of a small Japanese garden. On the second floor, you will find one western bedroom and a Japanese style sleeping room with tatami flooring. Toilets are available on each floor.

The house is built of natural lumber which is traditionally harvested in Japan. Feel the natural material and let it ease you from your busy traveling days. The house will welcome you with a beautiful hempen entrance curtain.
